The Indy R is a lotus seven styled kit with fully independent suspension. Main features are a tubular triangulated chassis with double unequal length wishbones front and rear for improved handling and ride,
push rod front suspension as well as a revised rear suspension layout, for improved road holding and increased roll resistance. Increased torsional stiffness comes from more chassis triangulation while keeping to a light weight design.
Major components such as engine, transmission, differential, rear drive shaft, front uprights, braking system, steering rack and column all come from the Mazda Miata (MX5) . The kit can be built by an amateur builder with no special tools or additional welding in less than 300 hours.
The kit adds to this an embossed plastic interior panel set, pedal set, brake pipe set, engine mounts for your choice of four cylinder engine (motorcycle mounts are extra), front cycle wing brackets and a set of four shock absorbers with springs.
